How We Protect Your Home
What To Expect From The Miller Team
No matter the severity of the situation, you can trust Miller Pest & Termite to take care of the pests that are a nuisance in or around your home. We also employ an entomologist on staff, so we always know what’s bugging you. With the knowledge that your exterminator has undergone rigorous training and testing, we hope you entrust us with the task of protecting your home.
Initial Inspection
When you sign up for home pest control services, we'll send out a highly trained and fully licensed pest control specialist to inspect your property to determine existing pest problems and identify possible problem areas (where bugs can enter your home). We'll recommend a home pest control plan tailored to your home's needs based on our findings.
Interior & Exterior Treatment
Once we've determined a plan of action, your pest control specialist will complete a family and pet-friendly treatment inside your home to eliminate any pests already indoors.
During the initial service visit, the technician will also perform an exterior treatment to create a barrier of protection around the perimeter of your home that bugs won't be able to penetrate.
Ongoing Service
In order to maintain a pest-free home, Miller Pest & Termite will return five times a year to provide regular services that include:
- Exterior treatment
- Interior treatment, if necessary
- Cobweb removal
- Wasp nest removal (Up to 25 feet)
- Check/install rodent bait stations

People choose Miller Pest & Termite over the competition based on quality and value of service. Here's what customers have to say about our pest control services!
In addition to the features noted with the programs above, every spring, summer, and fall, a Miller Pest & Termite specialist will treat around windows, eaves, and foundation to take care of flying and crawling insects. We'll also address current pest issues with pest-specific solutions.
Our winter pest control service is focused on sealing up basic rodent entry points, applying rodent repellent, and dusting voids to prepare for spring insects.
Yes, our plans cover carpet beetles.
Carpet beetles, while not directly harmful to humans, can cause you a great deal of frustration. If your home has a carpet beetle infestation, you might find small holes chewed in your clothing or other fabrics around your home, like couches or drapes.
Many different species of carpet beetles call the Midwest home, but typically, we get calls about two: the black carpet beetles and the varied carpet beetle. The easiest way to tell the difference between them is their coloring. The black carpet beetle is black and shiny, while the varied carpet beetle is flecked with black, brown, white, and yellow coloring. The adults typically prefer to live outside in wooded areas but are attracted to the lights our homes give off. They’ll slip into your home and lay their eggs near food sources. Once the larvae hatch, they’ll turn your home into a feast!
